As a RISE Reception Network Lead School, Billesley Primary School will play a leading role in strengthening Reception practice across Solihull, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. In this role, Billesley Primary School will:
Promote excellence in early years provision through evidence-informed Reception practice, highlighting the transformative impact of early learning on children's long-term outcomes.
Bring schools together to explore national priorities, discuss effective pedagogy, share best practice and collaborate on common challenges.
Provide opportunities for leaders and practitioners to observe high-quality Reception environments, routines and interactions in action, helping to translate ideas into meaningful classroom practice
Develop and disseminate practical tools, case studies, blogs and exemplification materials through our website, creating a valuable resource hub for schools across the network.
Encourage practitioners to evaluate current provision, recognise areas of strength and identify meaningful improvements that enhance children's learning and development.
Strengthen connections between schools and partner organisations, fostering professional dialogue, peer support and shared learning across the region.
